I cannot stand Lennix. I beg you just bring Maxim to me because I will treat him well this book is making me feel like I’m hallucinating because this man would literally bend over and let her walk on him and she’s like “I’m gonna put the fate of America before our relationship” and he’s like I don’t give a fuck about being the president. I want us and she knows this. I don’t understand..

This book is going off the rails. Everything that’s happening in here is what I thought was gonna happen in the first book because that was the initial vibe that I got and now we’re getting it in this book but it’s annoying me and the bad guy doesn’t make any sense and I want to dnf but I’m also addicted to reading it. I don’t care but I also care.

Idky but I’ve not been loving the “Doc” nickname in this book. It’s not hitting for me.

And also Lennix has been annoying lowkey in some moments. I also don’t really know why we needed a second book?.. I’m having a blast though I’m entertained.

Am I tripping or is she just being combative for no reason because if you had just recently been involved in a hostage situation and almost potentially died and are now with a prominent man who has had 11 filled attempts of being kidnapped, him giving you a bracelet with a tracker in it and a security detail seems reasonable and is not actually taking away your independence. Am I slow? Why is she against this?
