I’ve listened to 18h:48min… it’s beautifully written but have been pretty uneventful so far and I feel like it’s only now, with 2 hours left, things are picking up and becoming more suspenseful for the ending

The story is very unique and I really like M. A. Carrick’s writing, but I don’t feel that attached to the characters or the story.
I’m listening to the audiobook on Audible instead of Storytel and tho I hate Audible’s subscription, because it’s more expensive than Storytel and you can only choose one book per month, I do like that you can listen at over 2x speed.

The narrator Leslie Catalina Esparza of the audiobook has such a Spanish accent, it’s lovely and she adds so much character to the different voices but I’m also struggling a bit because I usually listen to 2x but it’s a bit hard while I’m still getting use to the accent
