"Crux advanced like a glacier with an agenda" also how do you know what a glacier is? I admit I'm only in the start of the book and idk if they do have glaciers in this world but HOW could Gideon know what a glacier is???????? I shouldn't be this agitated this early, maybe I need to swear off modern fantasy.

"...arranged it and its stolen key considerately on her pillow, like a chocolate in a fancy hotel." How do you as an indentured servant in a cave of nuns know what they do in fancy hotels???? And what chocolate is???? Fuck me I'm having Bardugo champagne flashbacks all over again.
