"Bad conditions make bad people." (p. 34)
So why the hell can't we all agree to fight for better conditions, better lives??
What a disgustingly obvious link between religion and indoctrination, specifically how Christianity was purposely framed as a compulsory belief system back in the 1800's to encourage monarchy.
Chapter 1 done. Hoo boy, is this a wild ride.

Marx makes it clear that communism is not a separate party, affirming how there will be no more "political character" once property is abolished, and class distinctions have disappeared. Wow, that would be nice.

I never was taught a realistic view of history. This is already jam packed with knowledge! Since my parents neglected to educate me without whitewashing it all, I'm glad to be my own teacher now as an adult. I must pervade their ignorance.
