Her dad dying hit me like a train. Reading her reaction felt like I was looking into a mirror when I was told about my grandmother's death on call. I remember my ears ringing and then it was just silence. Everything else around me was moving forward while my heart was constricting on itself. The tears came sometime later. The tears have come now too :')
