I normally love Diana Copland's writing, but this one isn't doing much for me. I think it's because I'm not connecting with Michael as a narrator and I wish I was getting Gil's perspective instead (or at least as well).

I'm well aware that this is nit picky, but with all the names in the world, why do you have to have characters - even those only mentioned in passing - that have the names O'Banyon & Manyon and Snyder and Snyderman in the same story?!
