I don’t know how she does it. Nor why she gave it up for the short stuff. But wow the skill. The writing. The plotting. The ideas fleshed out and fulfilled. The characters in their agony and their hope, their mercy and their grief, their joy and their laughter. Everything coming together for a numinous that appears and reappears
