see yeah i don’t trust the admiral at all this whole graveyard situation is creeping me out.

i think i may have just read one of the most heartbreaking passages of a dystopian novel i’ve ever read. fully just sobbed and had to walk away from the book for a sec. Cy-Fi/Cy-Ty is such a tragic character it makes me sick 😭

ok the whole thing with Risa and Roland definitely seems like a total power fantasy freakshow and i want nothing to do with it. eugh.

that whole Lev and CyFi chapter was incredible. such an insane and horrific and haunting and emotional idea to have remnants of the personalities of the unwound be present in the person who received those parts. just bonkers. this book is unreal.

currently borrowing this from the library but i’m loving it so much i ordered the box set. should be here on Saturday and i’m SO excited.

i’m REALLY enjoying this but also struggling to understand how the world got to this point, how the country came to an agreement that literally cutting children into pieces to “live on” as part of other people was a sane and logical and moral decision. it’s SO far-fetched that i just can’t really wrap my head around it.
