Right?? I honestly don’t get why people hate the pregnancy trope so much, I love it! But also, if you hate it so much, maybe just don’t request the arc 🤷‍♀️

That is crazy! I am so over people judging books by tropes instead of actual quality.
Also I totally agree with you regarding why is it such a bad trope? 😂I like it too. If you dislike something, then avoid it. Most 1 ⭐️ reviews are usually purity / content outrage. Let people read and love what they enjoy❤️

I don’t like pregnancy stories as a general rule, but ffs, it’s not like they’re hard to spot. Don’t request them you don’t want them! 🙄 As for judging/hating solely by tropes, preach it. But this is where we’ll stay until the audience majority returns to reading comprehension skills rather than selecting books via trope lists.

Sarah yes! Reading comprehension skills is something to aspire too! Also sitting with a character’s flaws and bad decisions without going into meltdown mode. Sometimes a character does bad things that we wouldn’t do or like, readers need to create that space without breaking down😁

Omg that drives me NUTS! Give the story/MCs space to breathe & grow, y’all. Perfect People from pg 1 is so boring. 🥱
