“The sky has split open like a bloodshot eye…” hell yeah. The body and botanical horror is finally kicking off along with the pacing. Was a little late in the game for me but still enjoying.

The prose is beautiful. The opening lines were so good I had to read them out loud. I love an unreliable narrator. I love the setting. Downside, I feel like the botanical imagery is getting a little repetitive. It’s beautiful, but too frequent to feel precious.
