Continuing on with my complaints. I’ve listened to a couple of dark romances before this, but my God, this is sick stuff. I know there’s a really pitch black genre, but I just don’t understand how people think it’s sexy to get off on a lot of stuff on this book. It’s frightening really.

I have so many complaints about this book. Starting with the female audiobook narrator - way too breathy. It’s really annoying. It’s better when she stops trying to be so over the top. She’s talented but I didn’t like her take on the FMC. Secondly, the male narrator, his problem is his cadence and how he talks really low, then gets really loud. I appreciate the talent but not when I’m trying to understand.

This female audiobook narrator might just ruin it for me. Right now, she just makes me feel like I’m constantly running out of air. It’s annoying actually.
