Kiki is beginning to resonate with me deeply. She seems an empathetic soul, anxious about the world, while determined to find her place in it.

Kiki, after having made acquaintance to the fellow, older-sister-like witch, received some words of encouragement from her, then set to the big, coastal town, Koriko. Here, the local welcoming was not sufficiently warm, but Kiki then found solace in a pregnant baker woman named Osono, after having helped her with a special delivery.

Kiki, now having set off to come of age, determined to make this journey uniquely her’s, encounters a fellow witch, of Kiki’s senior.
