this book is mostly about how the two brothers of the book argue a lot. the two brothers are Greg Heffley and Rodrick Heffley. Greg gets made fun of by his brother because he does some very embarrassing things over the summer. Greg can't tell his mom or dad because then Rodrick will tell everyone in greg's school embarrassing things about Greg.
