At first I thought the plot twist was lame but it got better with the more detail.
Kiara was never sleeping with Oli. Maddison (chief of police’s daughter) was, and Kiara saw them, so she was extorting him for money.
Maddie was obsessed, planned on running away with him. But he chose his wife. So she stepped out in front of the car causing the crash. Her and her father killed Kiara and hid Maddie in a shed.
