It’s insane to raise your children in a church where you attend every Sunday, are an usher, your wife sings in the choir, and then when your teenage daughter wants to discuss that Sunday’s sermon, you yell “We don’t talk about religion.” I mean I know he’s a serial killer, but the cognitive dissonance in this specific example is something else.
