The Instant Millionare's ideas of right and wrong are quite bizarre. At one point, he locks his student into a room with a computer that repeatedly displays the words, "you are going to die in an hour," to teach him a lesson in how repeating phrases can affect the mind. This clashes with the student's idea that locking people in a room is wrong, but when he learns why, he quickly accepts that the lesson was moral.

This book is written as a fable. I believe that the author chose this format so that not only is the reader learning, he is on a journey with a character, a young man, to learn the secrets of wealth. This format makes the reader feel like they are a part of the journey so that the ideas better stay in the readers mind, allowing him/her to more easily apply these techniques to improve their life.
