We are in the final battle now. The resolution is likely to be satisfying. I am going to be mixed on this one.

Things are coming together.

Things are rolling now, but not coming together the way I expected. I'm interested.

Again, good story, significant bits that don't work for me.

I have a very mixed reception of this book. The parts that are good are good. I genuinely want to know where we are going, but there are parts that just do not connect for me - namely the sex, which for me is weird. Gritty stories with sex and violence are my jam, but the sexuality expressed in this one doesn't connect with me. Based on all the comments, I would say it's a me thing. But there you have it.

I'm somewhat challenged. Stories don't work for everyone. I'll keep with it for now.

I'm having a bit of a fundamental challenge with this one. Things that should work for me are not. I am invested in the story and want to see it through because the story is interesting, but I don't like too many of the characters. There are other things, but... we will see.
