But it's not good. The plot didn't even start yet. We've had no dialogue either but it's taken me days to read 3 pages. The descriptions are... Odd. All's well when viewed out the corner of the eye. But if you sit down and pay attention every other sentence isn't quite right.
I.e. wooden rolling pins hanging from hooks on the wall (this is physically not possible cuz rolling pins have girth)

Nvm, this is probably AI. Found the AI cadence and random, needlessly flowery prose.
Shame. It could've just been a badly written book. But it seems to be a badly written AI book, which is so much worse.
