Why is my character being attacked the second I resume reading this book? 😒😭

Haven't actively been reading this since april, so might as well mark it as DNF for now. Reading novels with my eyes is scary lmao. The audiobook sounded weird but there was nothing wrong with the story itself.

The reviews make clear that these are Daddy Dom/Little Girl smut stories. I didn't know Littles as a kink term. I know it as a DID term (Dissociative Identity Disorder). So seeing Littles used in a sexual context.... 🤢

Can't find any mention of these short stories anywhere but they exist in the audio-version at least. Both add quite some depth to the characters, i particularly enjoyed The Bank
Otherwise, this series has been alright I guess. Nothing remarkable or particularly engaging.

Yesss. I love this info dump, it's done so organically.

MC wakes up in God knows where and encounters God knows what for some reason. We spend months with her bumping into her wall of ignorance. So, when she's finally in a city, she goes to the library and asks all the basic questions. Awesome

And FINALLY, a female MC in this genre.

Dang, I hate having to praise the writing of someone like Gaiman. I find it distasteful. Usually I don't struggle to, nor mind separating the art from the artist but considering that Gaiman is the actual narrator of the audio.... yea, tough luck.
