Tbh I don't understand what's happening with this poison/antidote storyline. I'm confused but just kinda vibing with it.
Also, the romance is basically nonexistent in this...like I know who the MMC will eventually be in later books, but why is she spending more romantic time with every other male character? I'm not really mad, but knowing my usual preferences, it is fascinating that I'm not mad lol

Tbh the magic system and world-building isn't great. I don't really get the monsters / the Quiet / Silencing, BUT if you just don't think about it too deeply, it's pretty addicting so far.
