i’m going to finish it, but i’m not enjoying this book.
book 1 was so confusing. i’m someone who needs clear exposition and it felt like there were so many things i missed (who “birch” is, what aubrey’s promise is, etc.)
the art style is beautifully rendered and very intense but that makes it hard for me to tell what’s happening or who is who.
plus the MC is always doing the unexpected
