All done with my first ever work of Nietzsche! Time to reflect (on everything that went over my head).

Chapter 8, "A Glance at the State", done. Into the final chapter now.

Chapter 6, "In Relations with Others"

Nietzsche puts communication under a microscope and argues that our attempts to persuade, argue, or help others is in general just a reflection of our relationship with ourselves, including our vanity and pride.

Chapter 5, "Signs of Higher and Lower Culture", complete.

Chapter 3, "The Religious Life", complete.

To the surprise of *absolutely no one*, Nietzsche has some strong opinions on organized religion and their relevance to philosophy and society. Also of interest is his comparison of ancient Greek society to contemporary Christianity, and how both have influenced the history of philosophy in different ways.

Chapter 2, a "history of the moral sensations", complete! Here Neitzsche freestyles on the history of morality, including the illusion of freewill, justice, vanity, virtue, and humbleness, and our unwillingness to adapt our views to an ever changing world.
