Ok yk what. It’s actually getting good. Zelu’s chapters have actual character development. We get to see her managing the public criticizing after publishing her story, managing her family’s criticism and her relationship with her mom after her dad’s death and her dealing with her disability. I just hate the rusted robots chapters.

Yes queen!! Become a robot!! But holy shit I could not care less about the rusted robot plot and I have no idea what’s going on but now we have an AI and a robot that have become one? The no body has a body? Idek

I still couldn’t care about the rusted robots book buttt now we get the backstory on how zelu became paraplegic and she had a lil friend. 🥺

Ngl I find the main character’s POV hella boring rn. Also the writing is so short and choppy and I find that it reads as childish when Zelu is a grown woman.

Interesting characters so far. I really jumped into this without a single clue what this book is even about...
