Seeing songs I like on the playlist annoys me. I find this book completely morally bankrupt so now I have to wonder if maybe those songs aren’t as good as I think they are

Oh my good god this rubber bullet plan is dumb. What if Shadera had noticed the weight difference and swapped back to real bullets? Or got spooked by having her ammo messed with? How were you planning to pass off a guy with no puncture wounds as someone who’d been shot to death??

Maximus’s plan doesn’t make any sense. This city to the north is failing so he wants to bring their elite to New Found Haven…except the way he’s making room for them is by killing all his labor force. Are these new Elites going to be forced to be the new laborers? If so why is he talking like he wants them for their eliteness?

Boy we are really piling on the plot twists here. Fake parentage and fake death on the same page? That’s a lot. And of course we cut away from the scene immediately
