this was so so interesting. i couldn’t pinpoint why i felt so uncomfortable reading it as first. i think this idea of people in pursuit of things bigger then them (faye=stardom; tod/homer/…=faye; harry=stardom; ms jennings=call house) was scary, alarming, and human. it was a complete commentary on how humanity seeks these things bigger than life and what they will do to get there.
