I have been looking forward to reading this book for years. So far, it is pretty good.
My copy is a hefty and very nice (not yet dinged up and dented) paperback, with some cool diagrams and drawings. The maps of the star systems are helpful, but some of the space stuff is still mind-boggling.
Also: Aliens! Guns! Spaceships! Cats! Pig that has its own cryo-sleep tube! Protagonist who likes tea!
