No, it was really fine for the first half, but then it tanked. I'll power through cause I have only about 140 pages left ("only" lol) but I'm sad that it stopped being fun at least

I feel that. I'm debating dropping my current read because all of the short stories have just been so lackluster. I only bought it for one story that I'm finally getting to and I'm thinking I'm just going to dnf after this. There's just no momentum to keep me going through this.

Oh my god for real. The worldbuilding is terrible and the plotting is ???? I don't even know, wtf are these trials supposed to DO except bore me to death 😭 i just finished the chapter with the ""Dragon Trial"" and it was the stupidest shit ever. I wish I had an audiobook version of this so I could finish it more quickly while doing other stuff
