To blame the victim is nuts. It isn’t the victim that was infected fault. If someone says they aren’t infectious, the partner should have faith in believing them. This book is so upsetting. The author loves to blame the victim.

The author completely misses the point. Johnson wasn’t truthful. Was he prosecuted fairly? Probably not and that alone comes down to race but he wasn’t truthful. If the author was the one infected in this way, he likely wouldn’t be speaking like this.

I’m sorry, but this whole Johnson thing is fucked. Johnson exposed his partners. It’s the same reason spitting on someone is considered assault. It’s not cool. Also the secret filming is beyond fucked. The author comes across as victim blaming and cruel.
