There is a whole chapter in here that is just Ellen Brody cheating on her husband with Hooper (the shark expert), and it's super weird because they talk about sexual fantasies. One of Ellen's is rape. I was so uncomfortable I nearly dnf-ed. If the shark doesn't come back soon, I think I might dnf because there is a lot of weird stuff about sex and black people in this book. Like tell me about the shark please!!
