lol the random charlie kirk name drop actually made me laugh. i’m curious if he was actually that relevant 12 years ago as he was almost a year ago. well he died anyway, so haha 😛 something doesn’t add up though. greyson and leo hide reaver from the census ppl and don’t have him on file with them. they actively hide him from other militias and are vague about his past, hmm makes me wonder about things

ok i wasn’t expecting to like this nearly as much as i am. POOR KILLIAN!! first ur parents get infected then ur future bf kills them then eats them, then u have ur future bf stalking and protecting u and then with the last bit of money u have u go buy a guitar and follow the caravan dude and now ur getting raped and assaulted by the kingsmen, this is so sad 😭 reavers gonna kill them allllll

dude this book was insane and so much more violent and explicit than i thought it'd be. i wasn't mad at that part, but some stuff just felt so unnecessary and so long and way too detailed. if it was 300 pages less, the point still would have come across the same.

I also hate it when they make stuff unnecessarily detailed. Did you read Consider Me by Becka Mack? It's not a dark or a horror one. It's just a normal romance one, and how itty bitty and teeny tiny FMC is pointed out in EVERY single page throughout the whole f**king book. I HATED it. 😭
no i haven't read it, but you're turning me off of it lol. i hateeee when they keep describing things over and over. to me, it's like they're infantilizing the fmc by continuing to describe her as tiny or childlike, and it's so yucky!! lol, why does that read like a colleen hoover book

But try giving it a go. That book made me think differently about many books I thought did a bad job explaining the FMC lol. I haven't read any other Colleen Hoover books other than the one I'm reading rn (Verity). And I can see what people say about her writing. But still I can't stop reading Verity. 😭
