Cute old school rom-com with smart but poor hairdresser with 3 kids that agrees to be fake fiance for upcoming politician to help clean up his act. Problem is they have killer attraction, act on it and start thinking this could be real. She is totally not what his rich family have in mind for him and he has an ex girlfriend/reporter who is waiting and hoping to ruin this happy ever after.

He doesn't want to be a politician really but since that is what he family does he plays the part till he meets Samantha. She is SO not his type and she has kids! The horror of it all! As he gets to know them all he starts to see something he never expected or looked for... a real relationship with a person who he can talk to and laugh with.

This author really does cute but dated romance. This was published in 2006 so realize it is from a different time. Still sweet and funny with lots of humor. Sam Monroe has 3 kids and ex that skipped out is not paying for anything. She is offered a "job" to pretend to be the fiancée of a playboy politician to clean up his image before he makes his run for office. He is ex football player and injury ended his career.

Yeah the book is old but still really good read, funny and sexy. Samantha is a hairdresser with 3 kids and AWOL ex that doesn't pay any child support. She works hard to keep it all together when a friend/client offers her a proposition. Pretend for 6 months to be the fiancee of womanizer, rich, bad boy, former football player, politician Jack Tolliver who is running for office and needs to clean up his reputation.
