Jeremy suspected Verity had something to do with Harper’s death. Crew told him about her telling him to hold his breath. He won’t leave Crew alone. He doesn’t get close to her again so she drives her car right into the tree. Lowen sees Verity on the floor moving! She calls for Jeremy and he sees Lowen holding a knife over Verity. He tells Lowen to leave. She gives him the autobiography and tells him to read it

Jeremy is taking Lowen’s advice and putting Verity in a home. She will come home on weekends. Lowen asks Crew about the day Harper died. He says his mommy told him not to say anything if Lowen asks Crew any questions! He realizes he should have said anything and accidentally cuts his mouth while licking a knife. Jeremy has to leave to get him stitches and Lowen has to watch after Verity!

Jeremy spends the night with Lowen. When he wakes up they are locked inside. Someone, obviously Verity, locked the door on the outside that Jermey placed on there to help with Lowen’s sleepwalking. Lowen worries about Crew’s safety so Jeremy breaks the window. Crew and Verity are asleep in her bed. Lowen HAS to finish her autobiography and give it to Jeremy!

Lowen tries to get Verity to move. Throws things to make a noise so she jumps. Says horrible things from her autobiography to get a reaction but none of it works! Verity is watching tv while Lowen makes dinner when she realizes the tv has been muted! Verity is the only one in the room. Jeremy and Lowen spend the night together!

Jeremy puts a lock on the outside of Verity’s door to help Lowen feel comfortable. The next chapter of her autobiography talks about the night Chastin died. The twin girls were having a sleepover at a friends house. The girls snuck downstairs for a snack but Harper didn’t realize anything had nuts in it. Chastin was found dead. Verity knows it was Harper who killed her. She wishes she tried harder to end her.

Lowen takes a break and watches some tv. Jeremy comes and joins her. They are talking when he finds out that’s it’s Lowen’s birthday tomorrow. He stays up & makes her a cake & sings to her right at midnight. They start kissing! Lowen sees Verity standing at the top of stairs with her hands in fists! Lowen screams & tells Jermey. But Verity is in her bed when he checks. He lays with Lowen to calm her down!

Verity made a nice dinner for Jeremy cause she knew he was mad at her. She was talking about Chastin and how well she was doing at daycare. Jeremy threw his dinner and told her off for not liking Harper. She gave him some bs reason and he bought it. She also lied and said she was pregnant so he wouldn’t be mad at her anymore and it worked. So now she would have to try to get pregnant or fake a miscarriage.

Jeremey made tacos for Lowen cause it’s her favorite food. They watch a meteor shower together. Lowen asked Jeremy why he never read her books. He didn’t like how all the darkness of her characters could come from her mind. Verity craved his validation. Lowen agreed that would be nice to have as an author. Jeremy tells Lowen he lied. Verity didn’t read her book he did and her writing matters to him.

The girls are 6 months old. Verity has a dream that Harper kills Chastin. Verity was so sad at the thought of losing Chastin that she realized she actually loves her. Verity was so mad at Harper that she tried ending her life!! This book is so messed up! I can’t stand it! She almost got caught by Jeremy.

Lowen wakes up in Verity’s bed! She slept walked! She screamed & ran back downstairs. Jeremy came to check on her. She told him about her history with sleep walking. When she was a little kid she slept walked so bad she broke her wrist & didn’t even wake up. She is terrified of what she is capable of while she is sleeping! He comforts her & lays down with her until she falls back asleep. He kisses her forehead!
