Well, that was surprising. I definitely wasn't expecting anything that just happened.

Please tell me that didn't just happen! My heart is breaking!

I think Serena is crushing on Leo, which is surprising considering what a bitch she was to both Ophelia & Serena for most of the book, but they actually make a good match. I'm glad Ophelia & Gemini made up too even though things seem bleak right now.

Every time I think Ophelia is finally going to figure out she's being manipulated & come to her senses, I'm disappointed again by how naive & stupid she's being.

Serena wonders why Ophelia didn't confide in her, why she didn't trust her, but she was never around for her to talk to. She also went back on her word more than once. And Ophelia isn't the only one who failed to share important details with her sister. Ever since they joined the coven, they've been disconnected from each other instead of becoming closer like they should have.

I wish she & Serena would talk & compare notes before either of them make a reckless decision, but since they aren't on the same page, I guess it probably wouldn't help.

I know Ophelia can't trust Niobi, but I don't get why she thinks she can trust everything the dark Pisces tells her either. She doesn't even seem to get that she probably only told her about the book because she hoped it would turn her. And before Gemini appeared, (which is suspicious AF), she was actually thinking about freeing her while she's still dark! How dumb can you be?!!!

I'm starting to wonder if Ophelia can trust Gemini. I think she genuinely cares about her but she's also loyal to their leader & trusts her.

For sisters who are supposed to be so close, it's as if they share a soul, it's amazing how much each of them has failed to tell the other. They're finally together but ever since they got there, it's like they've been on separate paths, hardly communicating with each other at all.

I can't believe that Serena didn't just trust her sister without needing proof, over a woman she barely knows!
