Back to this repetitive, spoon fed nonsense. Is this actually an adult novel?
I’ve also noticed lots of build up and not as much payoff. And when there is build up or foreshadowing, it comes to fruition in a predictable way.
Also, Poppy is annoying lmao
But on a positive note I LOVE KEIRAN! I just wish we saw more emotion or anger from him. I want to know what he’s actually thinking and feeling.

I love that we only see the Blood King once and that his whole purpose in this entire series is to die😂
That ending was so satisfying. The beginning was pretty epic too. But everything in between kind of made my teeth grate.
The writing and pacing still feels off to me but the storytelling is unique.
