This takes me right back to my Enid Blyton days! I love a Cornish coastal setting, I spent many a holiday poking about in rock pools and caves!

I haven’t been this excited by a kids story for years! 😆

I love all the ‘look here’ and ‘I say’ and ‘now then’ that the adults come out with! It reminds me so much of how my dad used to talk, especially if things got serious! (meaning, I’d done something he didn’t approve of! 😬)

I hadn’t heard of it, Liz, until I came across book 2 at my local library and it piqued my interest. I had to get this one transferred over from another library in the city, then I checked to make sure the whole series is available, which it is! I am thoroughly enjoying it so far!

Chris I also loved this one as a kid! Definitely intend to re-read it eventually. Hope you're enjoying it!

Really enjoying it, Chris! The freedom (and perhaps, stupidity!) of the child characters of these times! Jane has gone all by herself into a strangers house (albeit a vicarage!) and I’m thinking, yep, as long as I was back home when the streetlights came on, my parents gave me this kind of free rein, oh how times have changed (for the worse, sadly).

Liz I guarantee you will love the series! My favourite is the one set in Wales - The Grey King.
