This is so unrealistic it’s infuriating. I hate this book. I can’t put it down because I need to know what happens but for the love of fucking god, these people are morons and this author is a moron and I HATE IT. I can already guarantee I won’t be reading any more Nicole Trope books.

Why are people allowing their dogs to sit outside in this kind of heat? How are these characters not angry about this? Having water dishes outside is not enough - this is animal abuse. Does this author think it’s normal to leave dogs outside in 102° weather? Does SHE abuse dogs this way??

Oh my God this is making me so anxious and annoyed at this bitch. No you’re not calling the police simply because your neighbor’s husband is not at work and the children haven’t gone to school.
