Men can be fragile: some become obsessed with "golf and slaying deer" because they're not getting what they need at home. Yikes. Puts a whole new perspective on the frequent golfers I know; as for myself, I only hunt deer once or twice a year. =P

Started into the "(primarily) for men" section. Leman's writing is direct, thoughtful, and appropriately humorous- to help get the message across- without ever being crude. I smiled or quietly laughed aloud at the way he expressed a few of his helpful insights for men. He clearly knows the right communication track to help us understand ourselves and be better at what we do.

I tremendously appreciate Leman's candor on this topic, and find his explanations and reasoning (and Scriptural basis for such) so far to be quite sound.

It would've been a great benefit to me to have known this book existed before I got married (17 years ago), and/or even before I had a serious girlfriend.
