Nearly finished, but just beginning too. A synthesis of years of experience with people, art, language and that which this book calls Source. Still trying to discover why and how this book speaks so clearly to me.

I wish I'd had this book in my hands long ago. For me, it's the encouragement and advice that I needed back when and didn't receive. Just finished a section on choosing and developing an idea or inspiration told through the metaphor of seeds. Simple example, but one that worked.
For me, at least.
BTW Check out who Neil Strauss is. He's on the title page and it matters. Makes this book doubly interesting.

Just got my own copy and starting over with it. Yeah, I did that because I think it's worth it. I'll check in again when I catch up to where I was in the library copy.

OK, I'm tracking with author now. And he's got all kinds of good stuff, helpful stuff to say. I'm reading a library book, but I'm going to get my own copy so I can mark it up. And revisit it whenever I like. He covers a lot of ground that isn't just for artists.

Whoa! Need to recalibrate to get what's happening with this book. I expected something of a more cozy academic scientific personal presentation. Nope. Ok. More like snippets from a guru of sorts to ponder. I'm just trying to reset before I continue.
