I have like 12 minutes left in this book and it’s a SLOG to get through. Bad book. Hate it

I’m listening to this and not reading a physical book. I think the book would be good if it wasn’t for the narrator. She narrates it like Jeanette McCurdy narrates, which the style worked really well for Jeanette McCurdy’s book but it’s absolutely atrocious anywhere else. She speaks slow she puts emphasis on weird words, and it doesn’t sound like anything actually has any meaning and it makes it cringey ash
