This book has dual-POV which I found out in the most annoying way, and there's so much exposition from the last book I sometimes have to reread sections to find the thread of plot

Yeah, this book is 95% shipping and any actual plot kinda gets brushed aside after more than a chapter. Also Aris character assassination like damn, the author did her so dirty.

This is 5% actual plot and cool magic shenanigans and then 95% shipping bait for an end that I cannot fathom considering this book is halfway done, the protagonists haven't progressed in terms of power and planning against the big bad(s) and I fear only the interference of a God will get everything wrapped up in a nice and neat bow
