Read the first half of the second dialogue, Apology. Don’t know why the syllabus split the reading in half (half to be read by tomorrow and the other half by Friday). Seems out of character for the programme but whatever. I definitely like this dialogue more than the first, mainly because it’s less philosophical. This is definitely humorous in a classical sense of the world.

Read the Euthyphro Dialogue. We only have to read two of the five but they are all quite short so I’m going to try to read them all. On the nature of piety/justness but also at a deeper level about the nature of wisdom & who is able to have power over naming and declarations.
