At this point, I want Kaikeyi to fight the gods. They seem like a-holes. But also I want to see more conflict with her son being a god when she despises them. It feels like a very one-dimensional relationship right now.

Wow what a neat little book with a vibrant culture and story and a great place to end it.....oh wait. I still have over 50% of the book left. I'm sure nothing bad will happen. This is fine. :)

Is it a fall read? No. Is it by a Hispanic author? Also no. Is it orange and yellow though so it kind of reminds me of fall and it was also claiming a massive amount of space on my TBR shelf? Yes!
