This is a bit “Hunger Games” meets The Odyssey. We have a young woman, getting into a dangerous tournament, to wreak havoc on the gods who are destroying her world. She is constantly fighting; others, her main male “enemy” and mostly herself. We’re told over and over again how mad she is, how much she hates the world, her fate and the MMC. Ok, I get it, you hate everyone and everything. Got it.
