Isabella needs to be allowed to say acc she does need a stable partner but she can’t because of the etiquettes of their century that still continues today. Catherine hinting to Isabella + asking others to speak to Tilney to stop, everything except speak plainly to her. Not distantly, not through others, but directly. This is why neurodivergent folks challenge these customs which end up having serious outcomes.

It makes me think of Scarlett O’Hara who was taught by her mother and mammy and given a manual to life that deference is expected. Sad for people who are ND, have hearing loss or trauma etc, informed support network makes it easier to grasp key social cues.

I loooove Catherine, she makes me laugh!!!! Educated people: history is written by the winners (until God intervenes!). Catherine: history books are boring, they’re always fighting, the stuff that they say doesn’t make sense, it sounds all made up. She got to the point so quickly cos she’s so light-hearted. Bets & foresight. Once I accurately predicted the order of announcements on a dance show, I was v. young. Bit freaked out. Cath talks about how he’s a bit of a braggart, it brings to mind numerology astro tool sadly applied since last year in arts, culture, + media + how some, astro dictates, tell stories + hide the truth. Not to judge though, i don’t have it, may Allah (SWT) guide us all + not use it either.

I see witch, I think about how malware comms tried to push this narrative that I’m Glinda the good witch (I spoke about SA, disability, etc), a liar (clearly a really bad one bc what liar is saying everything everywhere, clearly shows didn’t feel like anything to hide, unless your life has been threatened) + need to be good now. Humble yourself, you’ve ordered someone’s murder (to die alone), you be good.

Years ago I tried to put people onto Taylor Swift because they were rubbishing her music until they listened to some folklore and realised her range and also what’s wrong with pop. But wow, you do real fan service and then you get teased about the order for your murder and misuse of nhs transition on a Muslim in response with sponsored life of a showgirl.

She basically says nothing wrong with reading trashy novels, like when I said in my one piece review nothing wrong with reality tv - I don’t watch tv, I’m a reader. I used the word flabbergasted in the same review, said I used to study journalism. Then on traitors show, Kate (journalist) says “flabbergasted”. Traitors in hunger games is about capitol punishing traitors, not allowing people to speak to them.
