We're back to the "Peace" part-- I didn't realize it went back and forth between the war and the peace, which is nice. But my stomach has been more turned by the peace than by the war today.

At the "War" part of "War and Peace" and I prefer the peace part. Can't keep up with all the battle lines. Prince A.'s haughtiness is so unattractive. Spurs, sabres, and cannons.

A. is a young man talented and seemingly perfect in his friend's eyes, with opportunity on his side, yet because of his marriage he feels like his life is closed. P. is a good-natured young man of less abilities, with no name for himself, with his whole life too open, unable to choose a profession. It's an amazing contrast.

ooh wait 50 pages a day??? I'll have to try it that way because last time I couldn't finish before I had to return it to the library 😭

I made it through the entire first line, "Hey, Prince, what'cha doin'?" (translation mine) and got no further, so you've already surpassed my feeble efforts.
lolYahh my book actually had a translation at the bottom of the page soooooooooo :) thats pretty much how I survived through 200 pages
