Reading to your loved ones is a love language. The way they enjoy this story, it must mean that my translation of what I'm reading as I read it is not ruining things for them and their dependence on my accurate transaction to follow the story. I'm so happy that my understanding of the language is able to achieve this for me. I'm loving the story because of them and their anticipation of the next reading session

We have resumed our reading of this saga and just finished chapter 1 of the second part.

It would seem this is a series of four books in one. Just reached the end of the first book and it ended on a cliff hanger of sorts. I must say that if I’d encountered the individual books I would unlikely have read the full series as book one would not have had me anticipating to read the next instalment. I also discovered towards the end of reading this, that it’s a translation and that explains why I don’t enjoy

TW: This section was about this guy, remembering his days as a young boy listening to recorded testimonies of young men accused of rape denying those accusations and the women accusing them insisting on and he wishing to be one of those young men who did things to young women in the backseats of cars parked on forested paths. Also an encounter that his old flame had with one young man who raped her when she was young
