Convoluted. That might not be the right word for it but it's how I feel right now. The TV show is definitely better. This didn't need to be this long and this complicated. Unfortunately now I'm caught up to the flashbacks and I just needed to hurry because it feels like we've done this already

Oh dear. This is dragging

I was really looking forward to this book. So far the television show is better than the book, something I rarely say but it does happen. Jumping back and forward in time is definitely working against this book. Also dividing it into levels is annoying, even though I understand the author is doing it to clarify the timeline.
