No one else from the that outcast table knows why Blaire left BUT Devon, the guy that doesn't like her. He didn't like her because she took up all of his friends' attention—August. August basically fell hard for her, and is utterly crushed that Blaire suddenly left to go back to her popular life without warning. August is basically a delinquent that doesn't fit in or let anyone get close to him, so you can imagine the tears I cried when Blaire left him and he went dead quiet. He's more reserved now, barely shows up to school, and is constantly in fights. Devon basically blames it all on Blaire, but Blaire can't talk to any of them, hang out with them, or explain why she left, bc she's getting blackmailed by one of the popular girls. (Who's threatened to ruin Blaire's future, as long as everyone else's.)
