Chaol is dancing on my nerves so much lately. He excuses his behaviour with his “nobility and honour“, yet I can’t help but think that the main reason he wants to save the king of his choosing is more so we would not consider himself no more for “oath breaker”, which is entirely more selfish than what he tells himself.
