It had such a promising start with Lia not being a pain in the ass but the ending was so boring and direct. 90% of the book literally was conflict building but the last 10% was conflict destroying in the worst was possible that too 😭. Jeb dying was not on my list of things to read but it wasn’t that emotional tbh. I wanna say the resolution was so bad I slept through it… literally went to sleep. BORING AF

But she doesn’t and gets her boring not well thought out ending 😒 I’m really angry I wasted time reading 3 books for an ending as boring as this.

He literally dies by falling off a buff… you gotta be joking all these books 3 BOOKS for an ending as trite as this? I think not. So yeh I think the best part was the romance Kaden and Pauline ending up together was sweet kinda hate how Pauline was the second choice but meh since it seems like the author just loves Rafe and Lia. Also I didn’t get why Lia didn’t die. In the prophecy she must die to kill evil.

Don’t even get me started on the fight. It was one chapter long with character POV switches fast than light. You’d get half a page of a character basically losing their mind then move on to another character killing someone. It was so chaotic and the way the villain Komizar dies was so bad it wasn’t even satisfying.

Ok so overall the book was lowkey bad 😭 I really wanted to like it but the only parts were the love story and that too at a certain point it got annoying. After everything is done the war is over Kimizar is dead they can’t get together cuz they have duties to their kingdoms? Then suddenly out of no where Rafe visits as an emissary and they find a way to live together? It was a stupid ending

I looked at her, not caring who the Ancients were. All I could think was, It doesn’t matter how many universes come and go, I will always remember who we were together.

That plot was so random ngl I was shocked it happened. It kinda didn’t add much to the plot imo with the whole marrying another girl cuz of an agreement
